Peter
This is a drawing I done of my son, Peter back in 1981. He was almost 4 years old at the time. It was done with an ebony pencil, gum eraser, my finger, and a drawing tablet. That was my technique at the time. I colored the background blue with a colored pencil at a later time. Mostly because of the fingerprints and smudges I could not erase.
I don't draw anymore. Just haven't had the 'inspiration' to do it. Also my eye hand coordination isn't what it used to be. I may try it again though.

This is very good! Would love to see some other drawings you used to do. Inspiration can't be forced but if you do pick up the drawing again some day hope it'll be enjoyable!
Thanks for your kind words about my profile photo. Personally I wouldn't worry about not being photogenic. Might just be in your own eye. But: I think people have to follow their own feeling on whether or not to put their own photo in the profile. I think photos aren't really that important. I didn't want to include a photo of myself earlier because as you know there is a tendency to judge people based on what they look like, and I rather wanted to be known for my thinking. Well, I talk so much that people by now know what I think :-)
:o)
Hello!
So glad you enjoyed my fun, as have my happy family!
Thank you very much for your comments on my blog. We are all about "happy", here...when we can. Then again, I go there when I can't..huh???
You do show up on the blog of Pete, from time to time, I see.
Thank you very much,
--Dan L.
You should start drawing again, this is really good! I especially love the eyes :)
Take Care
Hello, I managed to come back online!
You have to start drawing again, Zoe, this is very good! You know what it reminds me of? The drawings in the ΑΛΦΑΒΗΤΑΡΙ we had in the first year in primary school (Α'Δημοτικού), I hope you know what I'm talking about...
I posted an article on my blog that bashes on bloggers, would you like to have a look and rant about it on my comments section? ;)

I wish I could draw. I have trouble with stick figures. That is really good. Thanks for your kind comments.
You really should take up drawing again, or at least show us more of your older pics! I agree, this is beautiful. The love for him came through in the drawing, I can see it.
xoxoLisa
BTW, thanks for agreeing with me at Pete's tonight. :)
And also I LOVE Felix the Cat! :D
My dearest Zoe,
If my post upset you I apologise. I felt so much pain these two days that I wanted to share it with all of you, so we can all do something about it.
What you do with the animals makes me so happy and I feel so relieved to think that there are people like you in the world :o)
Do you know, you're the first person I ever commented on, after Rachel?
a)because you're Greek
b)because of what you do.
I've been to other Greek bloggers but I haven't commented...
Again, sorry if I upset you. I get upset everytime I read it too, I cry when I look at the picture...
Thanks for your continuous visits and lovely comments...!
Lots of love and φιλάκια

Zoe,
I think the drawing is beautiful, and it's something your son will be able to treasure in years to come.
Maybe you can practise with your many beasties to get comfortable again? I looked at your blog entries and you have so many beautiful animals there. My brother is like you- he rescues cats and currently has five of them. My beautiful calico Creemore was one of his great success stories and she is the sweetest soul I have ever met. Keep on doing good work and pick up a coloured pencil again soon.
Cheers,
Anne-Marie
Oh, I see, another Pete! What a cutie! I like that you put the hatch marks on the blue just like you did with teh rest of teh drawing or else it would look funny. But you did great!
