Tortellini is Hibernating

This is my turtle Tortellini. You won't be able to see her though. She is buried under all the mulch and has an extra pile of leaves on top of her. She has gone into hibernation. I miss seeing her around the yard. If the weather warms up though, she may decide to come out for a little bit. If not, I won't see her until springtime next year. Keep your fingers crossed that she makes it through the winter ok.

This picture was taken a month ago. She thinks she is hiding and that I can't see her.
Little does she know!

I hope Tortellini makes it through the winter, too!

She must be cosy in all that much and those leaves.

Welcome home, Zoe!

You have turtles too? You should change your blog to Greek Zoo, LOL.

How have you been my friend? Good summer?
I'm sort of having a hard start to winter here, I wish I could hibernate like Tortellini...

Here's to better days for all,

Hi Zoe, I hope that she makes it through the winter aswell. She looks quite content in her bed, you are a good 'mom' for checking up on her. How was your trip? Welcome back home.
Happy Halloween.

Hi Zoe, how are you? always good to see you come by. Have a good weekend. How is the weather on your end? It has turned quite cold, and rainy. June loves the rain - will stand out in it, Summer - doesn't like to get her paws wet, only if chasing a bird. uugh, winter is here I think!
